The oldest house is located in the protected core of Subotica, near the Franciscan church and monastery. It is a single-storey building with a basement. The older part of the building was created in the middle of the 18th century, and it was extended at the beginning of the 19th century. The building is still preserved in its basic size and it is one of the very few examples of civil architecture in Vojvodina from the baroque period. The basement and the former porch are arched, and the relief decoration on the ceiling above the ground floor is partially preserved. The gabled roof was once covered with shingles. The main construction material of the building is red brick and stone of irregular shape. From the time of its construction, the building has experienced a series of inappropriate reconstructions and rearrangements. On the street side of the building, which housed the craftsmen shops, it was carried out the refurbishment of the facade in 1980, while in 1983 most of the basement was rearranged for the needs of discotheque MVM.
